A seagull just before flying from the Capitol Hill reflecting pool

A click of the moment just before the bird's flight in front of the national monument

A seagull just before flight from the edge of the reflecting pool of Capitol Hill. While architects and skilled workers furnish repair and renovation work  dome of the Capitol Hill, a seagull is flapping its brown wings open before takeoff.

Photographer Aziz Ahmed waited just for about ten minutes before the magic moment happened in March 2016.

“It is not everyday that we get an opportunity to photograph the bird with both wings spread out fully in front of a national monument,” Ahmed says

“I was lucky that I able to click at the right moment – I was there and saw the birds from behind  – I knew they would soon fly and so I got it a few minutes later with Capitol Hill in the background,” Ahmed recalled.

“I realized looking into my camera that I was able to picture the bird with his wings opening fully just before the moment it flew off,” he says.
