Virginia State Assembly acknowledges Adams Healthcare Facility

The volunteer-run oganization provides healthcare to the unsinsured citizens

Adams Compassionate Healthcare Network hosted a ceremony to mark the passing of House Joint Resolution 207 by the Virginia General Assembly and the House of Delegates that recognizes the work ACHN has been doing in Northern Virginia and beyond.

State Senator Barbara Favola, State Senator Jennifer Wexton, Delegate Jennifer Boysko, and Delegate Kathleen Murphy attended the event.

ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network (ACHN) is a volunteer based nonprofit organization committed to providing patient centered healthcare to uninsured, low-income individuals. Since its establishment in  July 2013 the facility has registered nearly 700 patients. It has 10 regular volunteers’ providers and 17 Sub-Specialists as part of its’ Network of providers. Also, they have had around 1950 patient visits so far.

ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network was founded through a collaboration between the All-Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), which provided space for the clinic; Mr. Lakhani resources social vision, which financed the network,  and the doctors and volunteers who staff the clinic.

The healthcare facility is dedicated to providing quality service to the deserving community members.  It works with doctors, hospitals, and medical testing facilities in the area to provide preventive, primary, and even specialty care at low or no cost to its patients.

The General Assembly commended ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network for its efforts to increase the overall health and wellness of less-fortunate members of the Northern Virginia community.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates prepared a copy of this resolution for presentation to ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network as an expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for the organization’s commitment to serving the residents of Northern Virginia.

The resolution were received by ACHN Board Members Dr. Chaudhry, Dr. Habib Medical Director, Dr. Rebecca Bates, Fakhir Ahmad Director of Administration, Nabeel Hasan Clinic Manager, Dr. Hasan Associate Medical Director, Dr. Omar Chauhdry, and Executive Director and Dr. Yahya the Director.
