Getting smarter and wiser is part of the evolution and as a species, and as human beings we have done OK in areas from education and health to science and technology.

But, when it comes to self-improvement, it’s only limited to more outer than inner transformation.

And we try to defend it, if told otherwise, with nails and teeth.

Healthy body has been our obsession, and to achieve it we spend millions of dollars from dieting to getting under the knife.

Practicing a simple ABC of health and exercise is too simple or too boring.  Hence going in circles of gaining, losing with all the services of scary illness.

So abiding few easy things to make your meals look attractive and taste great and make you healthy on a daily basis especially during holidays, here are some tips.

*Start looking for local farmers markets
*Look for salads you have not used
*Use small plates as routine for your family for dinner
*Make interesting meals
*Tell everyone to eat slow
*Avoid any stressful topic at the dinner table
*Play some relaxing music
*Find some new healthy recipes
*More use of antioxidants
*No drinks, sodas or juice in boxes
*Lemon in water is a must
*Pick to cook a new dish every week
*Introduce your families to new vegetables
*Try to get new recipes
