The World Health Organization declared coronavirus outbreak a pandemic in the middle of March. In response every country declared a mandatory lock down because the virus was causing havoc in Asia, Europe, the United States and all over the world.
Sitting at home, Reema and I wondered how to help people in these difficult and challenging times. With lock down instructions, one could not go anywhere to help people.
There were lots of misinformation and rumors floating on the social media. Many people were harmed and some even lost their live trying these treatments.
It is in the midst of such tough situation for the people that we decided to do something about dispelling this misinformation and separating facts from fictions.
We started using the same social media platform and posting video messages as public service on daily basis to present picture about COVID-19 disease and its treatment.
After verifying information from credible research scientists and respected doctors, we have been trying to help people with correct information. We have been talking about the controversial methods of treatment and prevention from coronavirus.
Thankfully, these short video updates have proved to be successful as people respond in huge numbers appreciating our effort and making note of the correct information.
Our videos are being watched by more than 100,000 people on an average basis and reaches more than 200,000 people.
Seeing the usefulness and success of this public educational videos, we have formed a website where you can see these videos and can get the latest updates and numbers about Corona Virus worldwide and in Pakistan.
The website is RTCare1.com. Visitors to the website can see all the videos and get the latest updates there. RT stands for our initials, Reema and Tariq.
