Amitab Bachchan, one of the greatest Bollywood actors, has been hospitalized after contracting COVID-19.
Bacchan, 77, has been reported to be in a stable condition since he was admitted to Nanvati Hospital.
The legendary film star, who shot to international fame with a series of blockbusters in the 1970s and the 1980s, announced his condition in a Twitter post.
T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..

His family members have also been tested and results are awaited.
In the tweet, Bachchan asked everyone who had been in close contact with him over the last ten days to get tested in order to check their health status.
