The Asian American Chamber of Commerce will host ‘Jewels of Asia‘ Awards Gala on May 3.
The event to be held at the Sheraton Tysons Corner will celebrate the chamber’s 10th anniversary.
“We will recognize individuals, small businesses, corporations, and non-profits that have made a significant impact, and contribution to the greater Northern Virginia, Maryland, or District of Columbia communities and the global communities,” Cindy Shao, the chamber’s president says.
Besides honoring the thriving businesses, the Gala will serves as a networking platform, bringing together entrepreneurs and officials at the same place.
Speakers will include Derek Kan, Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy, U.S. Department of Transportation and Dr. Gerald Gordon, Former President and CEO, Fairfax County Economic Development Authority.
