Russian hackers steal Democratic data on Trump

Intrusions signals Moscow's attempt to know more about the unsual GOP candidate

Russian hackers accessed Democratic National Committee network and stole information on rival Republican candidate Donald Trump

According to Democratic Party officials Russian government hackers breached the network to the extent that they were also able to read emails, and had access to the data for about one year. Experts fixed the threat last week.

Moscow’s collection of information signals its intent to learn more about Trump, who has decimated traditional GOP candidates by exploiting anger and fear among a certain group of American voters, and is likely to contest the presidential election against Democratic Hillary Clinton.

Ironically, Trump had recently expressed a liking for Putin, who also had indicated his approval of the billionaire businessman, who has defied political correctness, and has been on the offensive against anyone opposing his style or content of politicking.

Meanwhile, the White House has blamed Republican opposition to enhance finances for cybersecurity as a reason for Moscow’s intrusion into American political party’s computer network.
